A wide variety of cutting shapes for processing large products

The pneumatically operated PGW XL is especially adapted for processing products with a large diameter of up to 300 mm. The variety of cutting inserts enables different fruits and vegetables to be peeled, cored, segmented or cut into many different shapes such as cubes, strips, slices or sticks. Special punching forms for making diamonds, boats, and disks in various sizes, as well as decorative shapes (stars, hearts and many more) and grid inserts, are also available. The cutting inserts can be used in the PGW and PGW XL. 

A PGW XL especially adapted for cabbage processing is available on request for coring and dividing in one step.

Manufacturing process (except when processing cabbage): The product to be processed is positioned manually on the mounted cutting insert. Pressing the buttons activates the cutting process and, depending on the knife used, the product is punched into the appropriate shape. The cut product falls down into a prepared container or onto a conveyor belt.

In the standard version, the PGW XL is a tabletop device; a mobile base frame is optionally available.

Every cutting insert consists of a knife insert including insert plate and ram including ram plate.

The PGW XL enables the processing of a wide variety of products with a large diameter into a wide range of cutting shapes. Inserts for cutting slices, strips, cubes and sticks, as well as for segmenting products, are available.
Each insert consists of the knife insert including the insert plate and the pusher including the pusher plate
Cutting inserts can be made in individual shapes according to a template for customers on request.

A stable base is a prerequisite for the safe and optimal operation of the PGW XL. The mobile stainless steel base frame also simplifies the flexible use of the machine and the cleaning of the work areas.
