“Other players in the market cannot deliver the quality that we want to offer to our customers. By taking fresh-cut production in-house, we have more control over the process” that is how Project Manager Frans Bolder explains the decision of Postuma AGF to install an entire vegetable processing solution.
Since the beginning of this year, a processing line for cutting, washing and drying up to 1.000 kg vegetables including a GS 10-2, GEWA 3800V ECO and K50-ECO are operating in the modern building. In addition, further machines such as the potato peeling machines PL 25 K und PL 25 S, the cube, strip and slice cutting machine KUJ V and the packaging machine CP350 PLUS are used for different vegetable varieties and processing methods.
“We did not want to make any concessions on product quality. In addition, we wanted to be able to offer more variety in the future: more modern fresh-cut products and a wider range”, says Frans Bolder about the choice of the machinery supplier. "It was also important that we were accompanied by the entire process of change and all this has been implemented to our satisfaction to this day" says Frans Bolder.
