Premiere at Fruit Logistica: New Tona V cutting machine

The new Tona V cutting machine cuts vegetables and fruit into slices, segments or sticks in a continuous process. It complements the existing extensive portfolio of KRONEN cutting solutions. Watch the processing of different products such as tomatoes, potatoes or mushrooms in the video. 

Many years of experience with the tried-and-tested punching machines in the Tona series have been incorporated into the development of the Tona V. This also includes the fact that the Tona V is compatible with most of the cutting inserts and product holders from the Tona S180K and Tona Rapid cutting machines by using an adapter plate (option). 

Thanks to the large selection of cutting inserts, the cutting machine can be used in a variety of ways to process different products. Changing the cutting inserts and pushers is particularly easy, so that frequent changes of cuts and product are possible. During development, particular attention was paid to user-friendly and ergonomic operation of the machine. 

The Tona V processes up to 3,600 pieces per hour. You can find more details about the new product here.
